Who we are
For this website and for Ahilez, the data controller is:
- Legal entity:
- Beedevz LLC
- Address:
- 30 N Gould St #52104, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA
- Email:
- [email protected]
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email address and message. Technical data: your IP address, browser and device, and the time of your visit. These arise in the logs of the hosting and content delivery services that bring the site to you. Visit statistics (without cookies): the page you open, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. Our content delivery provider collects these without placing cookies or anything else on your device, and shows them to us only as totals; we cannot see individual visitors. Analytics data (only with your consent): the pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through Google Analytics cookies.
How we collect it
Your data is collected electronically: when you send the contact form, when you visit the site (including the visit statistics, which use no cookies), and through cookies if you have consented.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
We process contact form data to respond to your inquiry, because it is necessary to take steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)). We process technical data to keep the site secure and available, on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)). We process visit statistics to understand how the site is used and to improve it, on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)). They use no cookies and do not identify you. We process analytics data only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with the service providers we need to run this site: • A hosting provider (servers in Germany) • A content delivery and security provider (based in the United States), which also produces the visit statistics • An email provider (to deliver contact form messages to us) • Google Analytics (only with your consent) We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
International transfers
The data controller for this site is a company established in the United States, so your data is transferred outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area (EEA), to the United States. Some of our service providers also operate outside the EEA. For these transfers we rely on the safeguards our service providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. If you are in Türkiye, your rights under KVKK are unaffected.
Cookies
This site uses two kinds of cookies. Strictly necessary — NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose. It is needed for the site to work, does not require consent, and is kept for 1 year. Analytics — _ga and _ga_*: let Google Analytics tell visits apart. They are set only if you press "Accept" on the cookie banner, and are kept for up to 2 years. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page; the analytics cookies are then deleted from your browser. This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The visit statistics use no cookies and are not affected by this choice.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for at most 12 months after your inquiry is answered, then delete them. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 2 months. Visit statistics are kept only as totals, by our content delivery provider, for as long as its service retains them. Technical logs are kept for the short periods our service providers retain them for security.
Your rights
You have the right to know whether we process your personal data, to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. This covers your rights under GDPR Art. 15–21 if you are in the EEA or the UK, and under KVKK Art. 11 if you are in Türkiye. To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Right to complain
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live — in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu); in the EEA or the UK, your national supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page; the date at the top shows the last change.

Ahilez (Mac app)
This section covers Ahilez, a Beedevz app for macOS that syncs the Google Drive folders you choose with your Mac. It applies in addition to the rest of this policy. The data controller for Ahilez is also Beedevz LLC (see "Who we are").
Google user data Ahilez accesses
When you connect your Google account, Ahilez asks for access to your Google Drive (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive). With it, Ahilez accesses:
- The directories of your Drive, so that you can choose which folders to sync.
- The files in the folders you choose to sync (or in your whole Drive, if you choose it): their names, contents, sizes and modification times.
- Your Drive storage usage, which Ahilez displays.
- The email address, name and photo of your account, as Google Drive reports them as the owner of your files, so that Ahilez can show which account is connected.
Ahilez does not access Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos or any other Google service, and asks for no permission beyond Google Drive.
How Ahilez uses this data
Ahilez uses Google user data only to provide its sync feature, which you control:
- to copy the files of the folders you chose to your Mac;
- to upload, change and delete files in those folders on Drive, mirroring changes you made on your Mac;
- to show your storage usage and which account is connected.
Ahilez does not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or training artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Where the data is stored
Everything stays on your Mac:
- Synced files: in the local folders you chose.
- Ahilez's trash: files a sync deleted or replaced on your Mac (because they were deleted or changed on Drive) are kept in Ahilez's own trash on your Mac, for 30 days unless you choose otherwise, so that you can get them back.
- Conflict copies: when a file changed both on your Mac and on Drive, the other version is kept beside it, in the same folder on your Mac and in your Drive, until you settle it.
- Sync records: for each synced folder, a list of its files with their paths, sizes, modification times and checksums, so that Ahilez can tell what changed. They are kept in
~/Library/Application Support/ahilez, together with the list of folders you chose. - OAuth access token: in Ahilez's configuration file, encrypted. The encryption password is kept in your macOS Keychain.
- Your account's email address, name and photo: Ahilez keeps them only while it runs and does not save them or write them to its logs. The photo, like any image an app shows, may stay in the app's macOS cache. The local folder Ahilez suggests during setup is named after your email address (
~/Ahilez/<email>); if you keep that name, the address becomes part of the folder's path, which Ahilez saves in its configuration and which appears in its logs. - Local log files and activity history: in
~/Library/Logs/ahilezand~/Library/Application Support/ahilez. They contain the names of synced folders and files (which files a sync carried, and error messages).
Ahilez runs entirely on your Mac and communicates directly with Google. Beedevz operates no server for Ahilez and never receives your files, file names, metadata or tokens. Ahilez sends no analytics or telemetry. No Beedevz employee can access your Google user data.
Sharing
Ahilez does not sell, transfer or disclose Google user data to Beedevz or to any third party.
Retention and deletion
Google user data stays on your Mac only as long as you keep it there.
- Disconnecting the account (in Ahilez's settings, or
ahilezctl account disconnect) removes the access token from your Mac. Files you synced remain in your local folders and in your Drive, under your control; the sync records, the activity history and the logs remain on your Mac. - Disconnecting does not withdraw Ahilez's permission at Google. You can withdraw it at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Ahilez's trash is emptied after the number of days you set, or at once from Ahilez's settings.
- To remove everything Ahilez stored: quit Ahilez, delete
~/Library/Application Support/ahilezand~/Library/Logs/ahilez, and delete the "ahilez" item in Keychain Access. If a synced folder is on another disk, also delete Ahilez's trash folder at the root of that disk.
Limited Use
Ahilez's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
